a better performance.
The head coach is also of the same opinion that his side can do the magic by playing sensibly.
He stated, “I said after the first match that if we played without making our own mistakes then we could beat them and we did not make our own mistakes in the second match. We played a very good match.”
Moreover, the coach added that it is always good to play at home courts. The support of local fans and homely touch definitely adds more value to the game. He assured that his side will make a difference in front of the local audience.
The preliminary stage of the 2011 CEV Volleyball European League is scheduled to continue for two more weeks. The quarter-finals will be followed by prelims. Two top teams from each pool will advance to the next round.
Hence, GB team will need to make it to the second slot, in order to advance to the next stage of the tournament. In the final week of prelims, GB has tough competition with Slovenia. If they will be able to beat Belgium, it wouldn’t be hard to face Slovenia.
