Britania Lesley likely to thrive in Gala Coral Ladies
The K. Tester-trained black b***h, Britania Lesley, is keen to strengthen her recent glaring record in Open Races by winning the Gala Coral Ladies that will be held at Hove racecourse on Thursday night, June 28. The Open Race over 515 metres is set to start
at 21:40 (GMT).
The two-year-old veteran hound delivered outstanding performances in each of her last six consecutive contests at the same venue where she is going to show her guts tonight. Out of the six, there were OR races.
From May 24 to June 2, 2012, the daughter of Royal Impact out of Babyshan marvellously accomplished three back-to-back triumphs in one T3 and two A2 races. She moved ahead to finish as a runner-up in two consecutive OR outings during the first twenty days
of June.
Being a 6-4 favourite runner, the brilliant runner elegantly grabbed a grand victory by the margin of two lengths in her last outing on June 21. This was her second ever success in OR format of the game. The first one came in August 2011.
Thus, Britania Lesley poses to be the perfect candidate for the Coral Ladies title. The only hound who can deny her victory in the race is Lolos Lee. The P. Young-trained black b***h has accomplished many iconic feats since the dawn of 2012 but not in OR
format.
The daughter of Brett Lee out of Lolos Choice nicely won an A1 race each in February and March. She moved forward to bag a couple of consecutive conquests in the month of May. She again won two S1 races in a row during the first twenty days of June.
In an OR race over 515 metres at Hove on June 21, Lolos Lee finished as a runner-up after a close fight. This shows that she will surely give tough time to Britania Lesley in the coming contest.
Seven Of Spades will also prove to be a strong runner tonight. The D. Knight-trained black b***h maintained her presence on the podium continuously from May 4 to June 21, 2012, winning two OR races, finishing as a runner-up in three and getting thirds in
three other contests of the same format.
In this situation, there is expected to be a tough tug of war at hove. Good luck to all the six hounds.
