  1. You need a immigration attorney. Asylum cases are too difficult to do on your own

  2. A condition under which your student visa was issued was that you would return to your own country upon completion/termination of studies.  You have no choice but to return to Iraq.  There is no way whatsoever for you to change status from student to permanent resident.  Not even marriage can do that for you.  If you got married, you would have to return to Iraq while your spouse applied for your spousal visa.

The death threat you claim to have received has no proof, and is now so old that it is meaningless and no grounds for any attempt at an asylum claim.  And you were obviously able to live in Iraq in safety for an extended period while you applied for college admission and got your student visa.  Beware of committing fraud, because a felony like that gets you a lot of prison time before you are deported and permanently barred as a criminal alien.

You are going home as soon you graduate, or drop below a half-time course load, or violate any terms of your student visa.  Visa violations will get you barred from obtaining future visas.  And someone who violates visa regulations of one country are generally not welcome and not able to obtain visas for other countries.

  3. must apply for it You above all would know what is really going on over there Please post your opinions here You owe it to your countries Both of them Do you think America should pull out of Iraq ?Do you think we should have invaded Iraq ?no one knows who you are nor can they do anything to yo

The post below is full of c**p and if you have lived in the U S for three years  you know this They don't ask you religion when you apply and it takes a long time because so MANY apply Maybe we should throw out SAME to make room for the ones who want to be here

  4. It is very very difficult for Muslims to get residency in the USA under the Bush administration. Even those married to Americans may have to wait years to get accepted. Even those with children have to wait years to live with their children. The most easy way is to get a job with a US firm that will sponsor you. You may wish to call ACCESS in Dearborn (google them) as they have lawyers and could advise you about how a lot of Iraqi Americans have gotten residency. You probably need an immigration lawyer.
