British Armed forces entry requirements (vision)?

Question

I am extremely interested in a career in a combat arm of the British Army but wear spectacles. I have been advised by the AFCO that short-sightedness isn't a bar on service however vision must be corrected to 60:60. I'll be honest, I have no idea how to know if my vision is corrected to 60:60. Can anyone help? For the record my prescription is -4.25(R) -4.5 (L)
