Question

If I join the Army / Royal Marines in the next 3 / 5 years where will I probably get stationed? thanks :)

Yes, but you normally do a tour in Germany or somewhere else first. It sound's to me like you don't want to go on Active Duty, and if so I strongly advise you against joining the Army or Royal Maurine's as you will be asked to serve your country in a theatre of war at some point.

Well probably to Afghanistan, that conflict isn't showing too many signs of ending any time soon and the Government doesn't seem too interested in Withdrawing. In times of Peace though you could be stationed in a number of places, the largest foreign deployment is in Germany I believe. Other places include Canada, Gibralter, Cyprus, Sierra Leone, Falklands, Ireland and Afghanistan, although you could be going there to serve a tour of duty in times of peace and war it looks.
