British / German school leaving certificates.?

Does anyone know what's the British equivalent to the German school leaving certificate known as, 'Realschulabschluss'?

If you are referring to the certificates upon graduation of high-school then they are called GCSE's (General Certificate of Secondary Education).

If you mean after high-school, and then onto college (before university) then they are called A'levels.
