British Grand Prix: Lewis Hamilton Capable Of Pulling Rabbits From The Hat
Lewis Hamilton of McLaren is more than determined this season as he keeps claiming podiums one after the other. This Sunday marked the fourth consecutive race of the British driver and sixth of the season, when he had been able to stand tall at the podium. Once again in the past weekend he had been able to secure his top position once again as he ended the race at second place.
Hamilton had also been able to hold the record of being the youngest Formula One World Champion, as he bagged the title in the year 2008 at the age of twenty three. This year again he is showcasing his in born and unmatched driving skills as well as the unshakable determination as he is more than ready to grasp any opportunity that comes in his way to cement his position in the standing stronger.
After the great finish he had shown at Silverstone Circuit this Sunday he chatted to the Formula One official website expressing his experience of the race. He mentioned that it was a great day and he feels immensely happy because it seemed very hard to be able to finish that high up this weekend as he had not been able to do very good in practice sessions. He thought that credit goes to the team that has worked brilliantly over the weekend to put a very competitive car on the grid for both the drivers. He said that as a result of their efforts and his pushing the team had been able to further move forward with their point’s collection and that was his aim before he moved on for the race.
He was happy to explain that it is great to be there on the podium especially because it was an exceptional feeling at his home race as his fans and their support was overwhelming. He said that it was always something special to race here.
He was delighted as he told that he did not have the slightest idea at all that he would be able to finish but he added that he was hugely optimistic before the race started. He added that he knew that their cars were not as fast as of the Red Bull but the car performed brilliantly and made him fight a bit too well. He ended saying that he felt proud of his car as this one had been the best car that he had ever driven for McLaren.
The Briton driver after the dramatic and joyous finish at Silverstone is looking forward for the German Grand Prix that is to be held by the end of the month, he added that there is lots of hard work to be done for the upcoming races.
He was very cautions as he added that it is still a long way to go and that he could not afford to miss any one of them. He was happy to tell that the Silverstone points were very important for him though he had not been the fastest but still a considerable number of points have been added to keep the lead in the championship standings.
He concluded saying that he hopes to keep the title position defending till the end however he also agreed to the fact that the challengers are strong and he would need to keep giving his best every time. Well, his fans are happy as they had been able to see him at the podium in the home race and wish to keep him seeing there all through the season.
