British/ People from UK...??

This is gonna sound weird but I love the way British people talk. lol. They just have a more interesting way of talking than us Americans. So just wondering, people who are British or from the UK, do you think Americans talk weird or have an odd accent? We just talk kindda boringly so I couldn't imagine someone thinking I have an accent. Just curious to know?

of course you have an accent, everyone has an accent, there's no such thing as "standard" English ... yes I think Americans talk weird at times, you pronounce things in a strange way, spell them in a strange way and sometimes use completely different words for things from what we do

I usually love the accent, but every time I hear an American person say "vitamin" or "yoghurt" etc, I cringe hard.

The reason you don't think you have an accent is because where you live, everyone talks the way you do.

Once you go to another place or country, YOU are the one with the accent.

There are a lot of US TV programs and movies that we get here, so the British are used to the American accent, as is the rest of the world! I've never thought of it as boring.
