Isn't the fact that the same blood line has run the country (and more) for so long kind of like the rest of us admiting to being 2nd or 3rd class people?

What makes them so great that we all just go along with it?

  1. Monarchy should be abandoned long time ago. Unfortunately a small group of people still rule the world while the rest of us is living in an world fooled by illusion of freedom, democracy and human rights.

" None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free."

    Johann Wolfgang von Goethe .

No to religion, no to controlled media, no to pure hard capitalism.

Religion is the most dangerous control. Have anyone really thought of why Kings and rulers adopted religion ( or invented it) ?

Religion makes people slaves. We accept poverty, atrocities, and death as long as our soul live on in the afterlife.

Jewish elite has taken the Anglo-American world through  British Royal Family and capitalism. This is to spread Judaism.

The battle of peoples mind and soul has been going on for thousands of years, but now it is time for people to wake up.

To quote John Lennon: Power to the people.

  2. The Monarchy is what has held England together for a thousand years and they'll probably continue to do so for a thousand more. You do understand that as the figureheads of more than one or two countries they have a job to do and have had for hundreds of years that to be honest, they've done pretty well. There's a reason that England is a prosperous country and basically always has been, you should be grateful that you have a monarchy, or at least pick up a book to read about what they've actually done for you before whinging about being a second rate citizen or whatever it is you think we are.

What privileges do they get that that the average citizen doesn't? Whatever you're referring to, I fail to see how that differs from the benefits a president or a prime minister would be fit for.

Seriously, you don't seem to have any comprehension about the function that the monarchy has had in making England a nice place for you to live in.

  3. If you admit to being 2nd or 3rd class then, that is exactly what you are.You are the one pigeon holing yourself,no one else is.I,on the other hand,do not consider myself to be anything other than 1st class.

Edit......What privileges do they have? The privilege of their every move being planned for them in advance. The privilege of living in a fish bowl? The privilege of not being able to marry the person of their choice? The privilege of their every word mocked their every move reported on?If there was no royal family we would have the massive expense of electing a president every four years,at the cost of billions not the millions it costs for the royal family.Every president has peiviliges, planes, cars and the rest of the presidential paraphanalia that is paid for by the taxpayer and even after their term of office is over, each president is paid a huge pension, still gets protection and many other perks that the ordinary citizen does not receive. That is not just one president, that is EVERY president. No,as unfair,as at first it seems,I prefer our system of just one family that you may feel inferior to or not,to respect or not,as you wish.Every job has it's perks.the police, doctors, your local councilors, the Mayor, every politician, practicaly every job has it's perks.

  4. the queen is a mean *****. who hated princess diana of wales. the queen did not know the people at all. so people hated her

  5. I don't know why some folk make assume. when they don't know much about another Country. If they have been their before.

try it you may like it.

Alot of British ancestry in The U.S.  But, then again you may have roots to the British.Opps did I say a bad word.

  6. They are deeply embedded and people are too frightened to make a move.

Don't forget that the armed forces have to swear personal allegiance to the Queen in the same way that the n**i soldiers had to swear personal allegiance to the Fuhrer.

They do not swear allegiance to the British people.

  7. The Queen and Royal Family mainly play a ceremonial role these days.  Although they do have some say in how the country is run it is more about tradition and image.  The Royal Family is a rock around which british life is built.  They stand for everything that soldiers and civilians have fought for over the past 1000 years.  They recieve special treament but a lot is expected of them in return.  What people have to try and understand that despite people moaning about special treament very few people would be willing to actually try and change the way of british life (not out of fear but becasue people dont actually want to change).  We still have a fully democratic governemnt, free speach and all of that.  The presence of a monachy does not imply a dictatorship.  In fact, some of the greatest dictators are prime ministers and presidents (mugabe, that fool from uganda).

You just have to look at the response from people when there is a special occasion like the queens birthday.  Just look at the turnout.

  8. Taisanboku is perfectly correct and Royalty does not choose any codes and laws that we live by.We elect the party based on their manifesto. The party then makes the laws and submits them to the Queen and she signs them. She has no choice in the matter, she cannot pick and choose what or what not,she wishes to sign. She may make her thoughts known to the prime minister,as any person may and he may or may not take them on board. The Queen has seen many prime ministers come and go and she has a wealth of knowledge and experience, not only of this country but of the commonwealth countries and countries such as yours,Russia,China also. She is a stabilizing force in our country. Her job,as you put it,she has done for more than fifty years and has been praised for her work by the heads of so many many countries, yours included. She is now 83 years old and puts in a full day at the office every day, meeting and greeting heads of state, ambassadors and other dignitaries, this leaves the prime minister,to do what s/he does best and that is to make the laws that we live by.We like the system, you don't have to but then,it really has nothing to do with you.As one of your presidents once said "If it ain't broke, don't fix it".

Edit.......Oh,Devane,I beg to differ. You do not live here,it has nothing to do with you,you have no vote here. You seem to be suffering with the same problem that your government does, you cannot keep your nose out of other peoples business,Iraq,Georgia, the other states in Eastern Europe,Africa,South America,Vietnam,Cambodia,Laos,Palestine.... list is too long.Go and stop meddling in affairs that do not concern you. This is our country, not yours. If you feel inferior it is because you are.
