British Swimming aims high at 2011 World Championship as it handed its targets over to its national swimming coach, Miley Patrick, a few days ago.

Shanghai world championship is competitive and stronger enough to do well in the competitions”, Patrick said.
Meanwhile, David Sparkes, British Swimming’s Chief Executive elucidated that our ultimate mission is to improve the fitness and performance of our swimmers by a minimum of 80 percent.
“This is the time to rethink our strategy for the world championship in Shanghai. If we want to perform well during the world championship competitions then you have to pay a close attention to the key areas of our game like breakouts, turns, and stars”,
David Sparkes expressed.
Jonty Skinner, a professional swimming consultant alleges that British Swimmers have certainly a spark to do well in both the 2011 world championship and 2012 London Olympic Games. They are preparing themselves for the game tougher and tougher. “I believe
British swimmers will make a big impact on world championships this year”, Jonty Skinner said.
One of the most famous British divers, Peter Water, and, Rebecca Adlington, are also going to make a big impact on the world championship for the British squad.
Both of them have already won gold medals in swimming’s greatest events. Despite this, all other British swimmers have set 80 percent targets for the world championship. Shanghai will be the main centre of it. So it has created a huge attention among the
people worldwide.
Meanwhile, the US, Australian and French aquatic swimmers are also ready for the world championship events in Shanghai this year. They have equally set their goals for both world championship and London Olympics.
So, there is a very interesting and intriguing preparation going on among the swimmers for the world championship and Olympics these days.
“We are preparing our swimmers according to the latest standards. So, there is no question about that our swimmers are away from their world championship and Olympic preparations”, David Sparkes alleged. “We have set 80 percent targets and have started our
world championship preparation”, he added.
