Question:

British heart foundation?

I have 2 questions about the british heart foundation i can't find out from their website

1.How do they raise their money? Do they rely on the publics donations or do they have a large goverment support?

And

2.What sort of difference will my money make if i donate?

Its for a school project. I asked if we could donate the money we raise to the BHF

  1. The BHF was started in 1961 - I can't find out by whom - possibly just a group of people who saw a need.

    As you can, their activites are many and various.

    £79 million comes from voluntary donations, £74 million from shop sales, £8 million from investments and just over £5 million in public funds to provide care to heart patients. The latter will almost certianly be on a contract or spot purchase of beds or nursing hours.
