  1. this is the country of your birth, and that is your family dammit. surely you are entitled to come home and bring your family with you?? i dont know the answer. but i wish you the very best of luck and hope it all works out for you and your loved ones.

  2. She can enter the UK as your dependant provided she doesn't become a burden on the state.  If you have the means to support her, she should have no problem obtaining indefinite leave to remain.  If you are claiming benefits, you cannot claim for her although you can claim for your children.

  3. You'd have to be able to provide for her so unless you can get a job its doubtful . . .your children will be entitled to free education and NHS care though and you should be able to claim Child Benefit and Child Tax Credits for them.

  4. You are legally allowed to claim Housing Benefit and Job Seekers Allowance provided that you still retain British nationality. Your daughters are also entitled to a free education.

As for getting a job it depends on what you want to do. The higher end of minimum wage jobs are usually transport related (around £500 per week) and Contact centre work (between £270-£450 per week). If you have a degree chances of getting a very highly paid job will be better. You can join dozens of major recruitment agencies free of charge who will help you find work. Your time abroad will not dull your chances of finding work as such would be considered discrimination.

  5. why dont you work??

  6. She will not be granted a visa to come here unless you can prove you have accomodation and can support the both of you without recourse to public funds for 2 years. It would make a lot more sense if you waited until you started working and were in a better financial situation for her to appy for the visa.

  7. Here we go again... another one coming back and looking to have an easy life on our Benefit System. Find yourself a job first before you come back, and get your wife to work as well.I always worked but I did not leave the Country..... what is it now ...?  and you say you dont work.. ! what does that mean ?

  8. Yes you will find it very hard, as firstly since you have not contributed in tax or NI for such a long time you will not be entitled to all services.

You will need to be able to afford to keep your wife & kids without claaiming from the public purse.

So no job = no visa.

  9. Get a job then? If your really want to live with them.

why are you having kids you can't afford or take care of?
