I think they have proven themselves incapable of self governance. They elect idiot after idiot. They have corrupted the Queen's language almost beyond recognition, removing the letter "u" wherever they see fit (colour, favour etc.). This is only the tip of the iceberg.

I think it's high time the British revoked their sovereignty and thought them the meaning of the word sarcasm (another concept famously beyond their grasp)

You're so right, Al, I couldn't agree with you more. Their country is a joke basically, with an idiot government enslaving the world and their own citizens who are too flipping patriotic to notice. They are like a child who need his or her parents.

Electing idiot after idiot is far better than having one old lady rule for a very long period of tyme.  Since the Queen is old and senile, she may have corrupted her own language.  Besides, Americans speak English, not "the Queen's language".  As for removing the letter 'U' I think the middle east started this trend first.  Isn't 'U' famous for following 'Q'?  What about countries in the Middle East that refuse to use 'U'? Where is the 'U' after the 'Q' in Iraq, or Qatar?  I'm glad this is only the tip of the iceberg, as isn't that what sunk the Titantic in the first place?   An unsinkable ship that sinks on its first voyage, no wonder America rebeled.  Perhaps it's time that England becomes a state.

Given that you open with some blather on self governance and then talk about corrupting the Queen's language, why in the world can you not put together a sentence correctly yourself?  Please do enlighten me as to what it means to "thought them"?  Is punctuation optional for a highly refined British subject?  I note you elect to leave off a period at the end of your last sentence.  Is this the Queen's last sentence rule that only fine scholars such as yourself are aware?

Lol you do realize that the addition of U to many words is French influence and came after the American Revolution.

Gramatically American english is more on par with the Queen's language than the version used in England today.

You can try---but for such a young country to become such a strong force we must be doing something right, don't just judge us by our language and leaders, look at the country as a whole.
