Britney Agrees to Sole Custody for K-Fed?

This little tidbit just hit the news and I felt compelled to ask other parents out there...

would you ever give up your kids to get your career rolling again?

Me I'd keep my kids and find something else to do for a living...

Britneys never been a stable person anyway and the kids deserve a life where they wont be dragged through the mud ...hope 'dad' does a good job in caring for those children its all hasn't been fair on them they are babies !

I find it quite unfair of you to assume she's giving him sole custody to get her career rolling again. I think it's a good thing for all four of them. Kevin has proven to be a very stable and responsible father to those boys. I hope that by making this decision, Britney finally realizes that she needs some help and that she will make the effort to get it. It's great that she realizes that these boys are not safe in her custody.

I wish her all the luck at getting help. I'm just glad those boys are safe.

And to answer the question, if I knew I was unstable and unable to raise my children because of mental health issues, yes, I would give sole custody to my husband. I love my children and regardless of whether I had them or not, I would want to give them the best and healthiest, safest lives, and if that meant giving them up to their father, at least until I could provide for them, I would do it in a heartbeat.

She's not giving them up for her career.

She obviously never wanted them in the first place, but too much paparazzi kept her from killing them sooner.

The kids will be much better off without her.

I'm not surpirse, in the back of my mind it was expected. i don't think she ever wanted the kids to begin with. At least he seems to care, and have their best interest at heart.

No I'd never give my kids away to anyone. Why have them if you don't want them. My prediction is she will commit suicide eventually, or overdose one.

Where exactly in the article did it say it was for her career??? I didn't get that part!! Anyway, What I got from it is, K-fed wanted structure in the coparenting and obviously Britt couldn't give him what he wanted. I can't stand that loser nor do I respect him. I am sad that brittany has stooped to this. This all started with her trying to get custody of her kids, I guess she gave up on a war she couldn't win. Still I would fight till the end for my kids. The girl is tired. I feel bad for her! I don't commend what she is doing, but I certainly don't think this was all britt and this being about her " Career" I don't think so!  I still don't like k-fed, Loser will get his in the end. He is a typical bi*ch! He married wealthy popped out some babies and divorced her taking full custody, proving her insanity and now he get's alimony! ******!

I would never trade in my kids for a career. That's horrible but I'm glad she did because from all the publicity she got prior to getting them taken away it seemed like she was a bad mother. Almost droppin your son for a cup of whatever that was? c'mon now. Kev deserves them.

She is too unstable to have custody of her kids.  I don't know too much about K-Fed.  Really doesn't matter , a nanny will raise them anyway.

She essentially gave up on her kids.  How awful.  How will that make her kids feel to know that their mom gave up custody of them so she can continue her career without interference?  I would never choose my career over my children.  Although my children ARE my career...I'm a domestic engineer (stay at home mom).  :)  I hope to God that Kevin is a better parent and gives his boys the attention they need.  I feel sorry for those boys.

This just goes to show that Britney is another self centered pop star who's only concern is for herself.

If she knows she is not stable enough, I think she did the right thing

I don't think it's for her career-I  think she knows she put them in danger.
