  1. I'm ambivalent. For the immediate future, I'm against any further expansion. The EU has had to absorb many new countries in recent years and I think we should pause and take a breather before we think about expanding it again. But as long as they have an improved track record on human rights, I don't have a problem with it (in about 10 years time). Along with Ukraine.

  2. Sorry...but Britannia no longer rules the waves. And please, Brits have no rights to speak about human rights any more than the Taliban.

  3. NO for the following reasons:

    1. Only 9% of Turkey is geographically in Europe.  If Turkey gets accepted the new borders of Europe would be Iran, Iraq and Syria.

    2. Their culture & way of life is more similar to Arab/Middle Eastern cultures than European ones.

    3. Turkey suffers from human right issues

( the UN has found Turkey guilty in all these things: discrimination against 20% Kurdish minority, the illegal occupation of Northern Cyprus, Not recognizing the Armenian genocide )

    4. Turkey does not belong in Europe. People may talk of an economic union and in this sense there is no problem, but today's EU is much bigger than that. It is a cultural union as well, and Turkey does not share a European or Christian culture. These are the facts. Can you imagine a Europe, bordering Syria and Iraq?

  4. NO NOT REALLY, OTHER THAN TURKISH RESTARAUNTS THE ONLY OTHER THING THEY ARE FAMOUS FOR ARE THE BIGGEST IMPORTERS OF HEROIN IN THE UK. , THERE CULTURE HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON WITH THE BRITISH WAY OF LIFE, BUT OFCOURSE I AM SURE THERE ARE MANY DECENT TURKISH PEOPLE LIVING IN THE UK.WHO SUFFER BECAUSE OF THE BAD REPUTATION OF OTHERS
