  1. I'm an American also... and just like America (and probably the UK) the accents differ from region or region.

    In Toronto, most I have spoken with have more of a French accent.

    In the Northern/Midwest states that border Canada, like Wisconsin or North Dakota, you might find similiar accents if you when straight across the border into Canada. (watch the movie "Fargo" and you'll see what I mean).

  3. I'm American and i can't even tell the difference.

    i like the Canadian accent (although a lot of Canadians don't have it) better. Mostly because i don't have an accent.

    and you cant say "i like Americans better" or "i like Canadians better", because there are good and bad people in both countries.

    as for the countries, they both have their good and bad qualities.
