Broadband and phone line package - UK

this really depends on what you want and where you are moving too.

Do you download a lot?

Do you need reliable excellent support?

Is speed the most important thing to you?

Is price?

What area?

Ok if you download a lot you do not want to go with one of the really cheap options like SKY and TALK TALK. They will restrict your downloads and tie you in to a long contract.

Virgin Media provide a very fast service on their own cable network which should be available in oxford but you will have to check. You can do that here

I use virgin media and their support can be a bit crappy at times and they are also about in the middle in prices. However in my experience they can not be beaten on speed.

If you get a mobile, orange broadband are ok, as are supanet to use with your BT line.

Its a busy market just try not to be seduced by low prices as you are a heavy downloader.
