Broadband internet sharing?!?

hi guys, I have a laptop which is connected to the internet via wireless broadband modem, and i want to share that internet with my PC... they're both windows XP professional...

P.S: NO ROUTERS!!! I only have a network cable, and please, step by step procedure...

  1. you need to connect first in the host computer via wifi.. then after that, go to network lan,. the icon in the task bar that say taht your connected to the internet.. you will there the wifi and the lan.. right click on the wifi icon then click properties.. then click on internet sharing then click both boxes...

    You will need a "CROSSOVER" ethernet cable for computer to computer connections - (unless both of  your network cards both support "auto negotiation" most older cards don't newer cards do.)

    You will "share" the internet connection on the laptop. then you will connect the second machine to the first machine ethernet. You should "automatically" pull an IP from the host.
