Question:

Broadheads and a Treestand?

Hey everyone, I'm looking for suggestions on what kind of broadheads I should get and what treestand I should get. For broadheads, I want something that will shoot with the same accuracy as my field tips, I don't want to have to compensate, I just want to be able to hit in the same area as my field tip. I shoot 125 grain and I'd prefer fixed blade but I will shoot mechanical as well. For a treestand, I'm looking for an inexpensive but well built hang-on or climber stand. I would also prefer something with a decent sized platform so I can stand to shoot. Thanks for all your help.

  1. Here's the deal on the broadheads- if your bow is well tuned and your form is good, most of the fixed blade broadheads will do- if not, you will have to shoot mechanical-some of the better shooting fixed broadheads are the thunderhead, the slick trick. the muzzy, the magnus stinger, and the Rocky mountain brand. 3 top mechanicals would be the Rocky Mountain Snyper, the Rage, and the Nap Spitfire.

The top stands that I like the best are the Summit Viper SS and the API climbers. I have both, and I prefer the Summit, but the API is almost as good. Good luck on your bowhunting this year!
