Brock Lesnar assaults Josh Matthews to show he is supreme – WWE News
After beating the h**l out of John Cena for three consecutive weeks, Brock Lesnar is now unleashing his fury over others too. Unfortunately, this time it was not a wrestler who was Lesnar’s victim but it was commentator Josh Matthews.
Josh, like always, tried to entertain the crowd y interviewing Brock Lesnar backstage. However, he was not aware of the consequences that were about to occur. Josh asked rock that if he loses to Cena at Extreme Rules, will he still be the face of WWE. While
any other wrestler would have taken this as a simple question to be verbally answered, Lesnar got rash and grabbed Josh by his neck. Lesnar pushed him against the wall and stared at him for a while. Unexpectedly, Lesnar showed some mercy and left alone the
kid just when Josh said, “I am just doing my job.” Maybe Josh did not know but this was a remark that he should not have uttered. Lesnar, who was walking away, turned back and threw Josh across the shutters.
The whole session definitely showed how furious Brock can get with the slightest provocation. Probably, it was meant to show Brock’s fury and how it will affect John Cena. Both the men later signed the Extreme Rules contract. Both men will go face to face
with each other at Extreme Rules in a match with Extreme Rules. They will be allowed to use weapons and probably pin their opponent anywhere in the arena, be it the ring or ringside.
Earlier in the show, Edge came out to talk to John Cena about what he feels the latter should do. According to Edge, Cena has changed after his defeat to The Rock. Edge suggested Cena to ‘wake up’ and get back to himself. According to the R-rated superstar,
most wrestlers go through this stage when they face the biggest defeats of their lives and for Cena, losing to The Rock was his career’s major defeat. Edge finally came up close and told Cena to beat Brock Lesnar at any cost to save people The Undertaker and
Shawn Michaels from getting embarrassed by seeing a person like Brock Lesnar winning the show.
