I would still say Lesnar by TKO or KO Cheick Kongo doesnt have a good chin, but it could go either way.

i don't care about lesnar he is a waste of time after wwe then the nfl it's only a matter of time before he wants to try another sport and any fight for brook will be put in place for brook to win dana knows who his money makers are

id go with congo ,hes got more skills ,

u just need a good gameplan against brock,

mainly get him tired ,which he will (just too big)

without absorbing punishment (which herring didnt do)

i would have to go with kongo, he is too much of a good striker for lesnar.

Just because Herring beat Kongo does not in any way mean that Lesnar will beat Kongo with ease. It will be an interesting fight.

I would love to see this fight happen. I would have to give this one to Lesnar. Brock impressed me in his fight last night, he totally dominated every aspect of the fight. I don't think Kongo could handle him standing up and definately not on the ground. I think the only fighters Lesnar would have trouble with are submissions guys. Such as the Mir fight.

After seeing Lesnar showing his @ss during the post fight, I'm pulling for Cheick Kongo to lay a skin across that fat head or neck.

some of these answers amaze me, people are saying Lesner hits to hard for Kongo and that Herring is a better striker than Kongo, and Lesner would KO Kongo, WTF??

Lesner doesnt hit hard at all, hitting hard very little to do with being a big strong fat guy like Lesner. Lesner couldnt hit hard enough to finish Herring off when Herring was done in the first 30 sec.

Herring does not have good striking, he is a brawler with little techinical skill, where as Kongo is a very skilled striker with great power.

If and when Kongo and Lesner fight it will be pretty simple, if Kongo can keep Lesner off of him Lesner will get killed, if Lesner can get Kongo down and go crazy on him then Kongo will get killed. Kongo certainly has better submisison skill but he's not at a level where he could control and finish an animal like Lesner. So I think it will look alot like the Lesner Herring fight, most of the fight will be Lesner on top of Kongo not knowing how to finish him, with the exception that Kongo will probably get a few shots in while standing because he wont get caught with a ridiculas punch like that dope Herring.

Considering that neither are skilled at submissions I would have to say 30-27 for Lesnar due to his great take-down ability.

Some individuals balked at a question I offered a few weeks ago regarding strength in fighting.  I KNOW that strength plays a roll when skills are similar or when a fighter is much stronger over a more skilled fighter.

That said, Lesnar is extremely strong - this is mainly why he can overpower another man.  Congo is stronger than many fighters.  Lesnar is MUCH stronger than Congo, Lesnar can deliver a great punch with a LOT of strength/power behind it and has great wrestling skills that - accompanied with the strength - can overpower most other fighters.  This is why Lesnar won, this is why he would destroy Kongo.  He lost to Mir because he was not trained well enough with defense techniques.  He can't submit an oponent because he doesn't have enough experience yet.

I don't see how Kongo would stand a chance.  Herring just beat Kongo before his Lesnar fight, and Lesnar destroyed Herring.  He didn't finish Herring because he didn't want to.  He got in his full 15 minutes of pummeling action.  Kongo would have no chance.  The fight would be similar, with the exception that Kongo would quit after 2 rounds.

Kongo is highly overrated and a watered down version of Herring (good striking and mediocre at everything else).  Lesnar will dominate him.
