Brock Lesnar vs. Fedor Emelianenko?

i think randy couture has a chance against fedor but i think brock would give him a hard time...........unless he gets caught with a submission

well, brock may have a shot in a few years, but right now he doesn't. he is probably much stronger than fedor, but strength is a very small part of the MMA game. fedor would dominate the fight and submit brock in the first or second.

also, to the guy who talked about mir saying he is a fraction of the fighter fedor is do you know how great mir is at subs. probably one of the best in any weight class. he can sub from any position.

Brock would not get out of the first round, probably not even the first minute.  He doesn't have the striking skills to stand up to Fedor.  He doesn't have the ground game to stand up to Fedor.  Brock Lesnar right now is still just a big what if?  He has potential, but he's also relatively old (30) to be starting the game.

For the last ten years Fedor has dominated the heavyweights, beating four UFC champions in the process.  If Arlovsky doesn't beat him in October, it will be a while before he gets beat.  Couture doesn't have chance.   He just doesn't have the necessary skills to take Fedor down.

Lesnar got subbed by Frank Mir, who is a fraction of the fighter Fedor is. Fedor would beat Lesnar any way he wanted, any time he felt like it.

Brock is huge, fast, and incredibly powerful, but Fedor is too good for him.  Fedor could knock him out standing, and he could submit him if Brock took him down.  

I do think that Brock will be the heavyweight UFC champ soon, though.  I don't think it will take years.  With his excellent collegiate wrestling training and his amazing physical skills, he will be tough for anyone to beat once he learns more submission defense.

Brock needs five more years of competition before he would be ready for Fedor. Brock will be more seasoned by then, and Fedor will have slowed down physically. Age is probably the only thing that will become a liability in the ring for Fedor.

Lol Brock Lesnar lost to Frank Mir, he has good wrestling but Fedor is a beast. Maybe brock would give him a hard time, but fedor has some serious strength and talent. I'm pretty sure Fedor would win.
