OMG, he's gettting a shot at UFC Championship GOLD! Holy c**p! Is it too soon? Will you shell out the money to see it? I'm predicting a loss, but I'm SOOOO tempted to buy my first UFC PPV now. SOOO TEMPTED...

I realize this isn't a wrestling question, but it's Brock frigging Lesnar. You know the deal.

  1. Never too soon.

  2. I think it's too soon.  While Lesnar's impressive, he's still only 1 and 1 in the UFC.  There are definitely more deserving, skilled, and worthy  contenders than the newcomer Lesnar.  I'm not saying that Lesnar hasn't improved, as a matter of fact, I've been quite the Brock advocate since he entered MMA, but this is a whole new level of experience he's going up against.  I'm not the biggest Randy Couture fan in the world, but he's definitely better equipped than Lesnar when it comes to different facets of mixed martial arts.

In a way I hope Brock doesn't win.  I hope he gets dominated, because he was quite cocky in his last bout, and I think he needs some humble beaten into him, and putting him in a Heavyweight title bout isn't going to help bring him down to earth.  Some days I think White's setting Lesnar up to fail, just to point out how fake wrestling is.

  3. randy will win

  4. Brock has no chance but it would be cool to see Brock get his *** kicked.

  5. I say no it is not too soon and here is why

1.I will pay for that ppv I paid to watch all the randy fights

2.No matter what everyone says about this fight they will watch it for one reason or another....to watch randy smash Brock or Brock to smash Randy or even to see if randy still has it (I think he does) and I cannot wait for this fight and the fedor fight..

    3. Will be the biggest ppv of the year simply because of all the UFC fans and all the WWE fans will be watching this fight so it is a win win for UFC no matter the outcome and the fans wanted it

My prediction,,,,,,it is too soon to say randy is randy a god in the UFC but then you have the ridiculous power of Brock with no where near the experience in wrestling but I know I will watch it and happy it is happing

  6. there is no chance of brock lesnar beating randy couture at the moment, enough said

  7. I think Lesnar might have a shot, because couture hasn't fought for a while. It'll be a good PPV to order though.

  8. Yes. Who has Brock beaten? Heath Herring. A man who was in his prime six years ago, and got eaten by the top heavyweights then. And he (Brock) was submitted by Frank Mir, a man who's really not been looking impressive at all in recent years, in a minute and a half.

Nogeuira is the current interim heavyweight champ. Why in god's name would Lesnar get an actual title shot? What, will it be the winner of that vs. the winner of Mir/Nogeuira (which will be Nogeuira, btw) for the undisputed title? See, Lesnar's collegiate wrestling achievements are equal to Couture's, he's bigger, much stronger and much younger. But I see this fight going like Couture/Gonzaga. You don't just come in and beat the no. 3 or 4 ranked HW in the world.

Eh, you should really have spent your money on UFC 81 or whatever it was. Watching Lesnar get owned and Tim Sylvia get choked out is absolutely priceless. No, I'm not that much of a Couture mark, though I'll rent the DVD later.

And it is a wrestling question, btw. They're both wrestlers.
