  1. well i haven't ever broken a bone before but i would think it would happen because your brain can't get to your fingers!

  2. Yes it's normal. It's just because you have a cast on and can't move your fingers around a lot. If they do go numb though you should get checked out and make sure your cast isn't cutting offf the blood going to your arm. But when I broke my arm, my fingers definitely felt a bit strange.

  3. you probably pinched a nerve or something to make it feel that way my mom had the same problem after she dislocated her shoulder..she had surgery and it fixed the problem

  4. Is it your pinky and ring finger mainly?  I broke my arm several years ago and it turns out that I damaged the ulnar nerve, which resulted not only in "tingliness" but mostly numbness and weakness.  I had to have surgery to "release" the nerve from scar tissue that had built up around the break.  It's not normal to feel tingles-- maybe the cast is putting pressure on a nerve or something.  TELL YOUR DOCTOR RIGHT AWAY!!!  It's probably nothing, but you should have it checked out to be on the safe side.

  5. its pretty much normal, there's usually swelling that kind of squeezes in on the nerves and gives some tingling sensations.  totally numb is bad.  a bit tingly is normal. and yes this happened to me, and it lasts a few weeks.
