Broke my wrist in motorcycle accident

does my boss need to give me 40 hours of work (that I usally get)? I have a doctors note that say I can not use my left hand so I really can not do anything there. does he have to do any thing or can he just not schedule me? thanks

Should you be going to work at all ? Contact your Gp or the A&E department, ask their advise.
