Broken Bone..Does anynone know how to posistion magnets on a broken hand because of the rumored healing powers

I have a broken metacarpral on my right hand. its just 1 and ive had the cast on for 5 weeks and 5 days. Got it off yesterday and the doc said its about 85% healed so we can giv u a brace. Does anyone no how to posistion the magnets on the hand. b/c of the rumored healing it does. and anbody know how long it will take this bone to heal b/c doc said 4 weeks and were up to week 6 starting next week..

From my own experience with a fractured rib from a fall  I slept all night with the magnets next to the rib and it was completely  healed within 3-4 weeks, and the Dr expected 6 weeks. I also took pain medicine, since there was a severe stabbing pain  You need to find the way to tape the magnets next to the bone, on top or under the brace will do , and the strength (Gauss) of the magnet to use. Do it at night while sleeping if it is uncomfortable throughout  the day. Bone generally heals in 6 weeks , so you are just about  done for 6 weeks even without the magnet. You can try the magnet an night it cannot hurt. Get well soon......

Broken bones take about 4-6 weeks to heal ON AVERAGE.  Some people take a bit longer, some a bit less time. That is it.  People who have other illnesses or malnourished may take much longer.  A broken 5th metacarpal is known a "Boxers' fracture", because it is usually caused by punching something...most of the ones I see are in young men who get angry and punch walls.

Magnets do nothing at all, They are  completely useless....the fact you use the terms "rumored healing" should give you a clue.  (There's also a rumor Angelina Jolie is looking to dump Brad and hook up with a middle aged family doctor...but I'm not counting on it.)
