Broken Egyptian Mummy Ornament?

I went to egypt last year and bought an egyptian mummy in a casket (e.g mummy in a coffin wrapped in bandages) got the idea? Today i was holding it whilst sorting out in my room. The next time i looked at after a short period of time, causig no known damage its head was broken off still placed together in the casket????? Told my mother! "OH NO WE WILL BE IN FOR BAD LUCK NOW" do you agree or is she being paranoid?

  1. well it depends...was the mummy an important historical figure...i doubt it, usually only the pharaoh's or the priests or the "important" people are the ones with curse's on their graves to prevent grave robberies. Just because its a mummy, doesn't mean its cursed immediately, besides, the only way to find out if it is cursed is if the mummy has somewhere inscribed in it a curse or a warning, or maybe there was a piece of paper in her/his tomb. Ask the person you bought it from if there is any other background or anything else buried with the mummy. if you were able to buy it, then most likely it's not cursed. but seriously, if the head was severed and you never touched it, maybe just try calling the people who sold it to you, tell them its damaged and that when you got it its ehad was already torn off.

  2. Take it back, to where you bought it, with the packaging, and the receipt,

    and they will either refund your money, or replace it.
