I blew up in a golf match on a short par 5 and snapped my Cleveland wedge in two. What am I looking at to get it repaired? New shaft will cost about $10 and grip will be $4 but what will labor cost be at say Golfgalaxy or Golfsmith and how long it will take to be repaired?

  1. Contact your local golf shop or pro shop. The pro either has the club sent out to be repaired or he will order the shaft and repair it within the shop.. You will have the cost informantion and then decide whether you want to purchase a new one and repair the old one as a spare because you will most likely break the wedge again. Temper!! Temper !!

  2. It should not take more than an hour to repair if the shop is not busy. Price if they are charging more than $20 to fix it it is to much IMHO. But since apparently you don't have the equipment to do it yourself it might be worth more to you.

  3. if it was a graphite shaft which i assume it was considering that wooden shafts are outdated and aint no one snappin a steel shaft. but graphite will cost you more than $10 more like $20-$30 and thats an ordaniray shatf. The labor should be no more 20 or 30 dollars if even?

  4. just get a new one

  5. Labor fee will only be about $10 at Golf Galaxy plus the cost of the shaft and grip you choose.  They are busy this time of year doing a lot of regripping for the new season so it might be a couple of days before they get to do it.  But since you can't hit it the way it is - just take it in.  The sooner you do that the sooner you will get it back.  Might want to think about some anger management too.
