Broken Wii, Should I buy a xbox360 instead?

My wii is experiencing problems reading game discs, it shows the games "icon" at the disc channel..(sometimes). When I enter the game, the screen turns black and i get the message,"an error has occured,eject disc" I has 7 games (all of them beaten) and they all don't work. Now ive been craving playing GTA4 online and play with my friend online , which sounds like fun, what should I do?

if you plan on getting m rated games, definately get it. without a question. then you can get saints row 2 in october, gears of war 2, fable 2, and the new call of duty in november. and live is AMAZING

UR ANSWER: yes, xbox 360 has got much better graphic, much better games and it's gotten much cheaper, the basic version of it is really cheap.

There's a guy in ur answers that said: it has a %16 failing rate...

THAT IS BULL****. The redlight thing is due to overheating and not cleaning ur xbox 360, if u just put ur xbox somewhere where the air can go through and come out, nothing will happen ( %0 failing rate).

THERE'S A NOTHER REASON FOR BUYING AN XBOX 360: lots of good games are coming up for xbox 360 in about 2 months, but not all of those games will be available for WII.

IT's ur choice man, but my opinion: DISPOSE OF UR WII, and experience a real game with xbox 360 lol.

Your wii could still be under warranty. Even if it isn't call Nintendo, and they'll fix it.

I think it's your opinion. In my opinon I wouldn't buy a 360 cos I'm a gamer and gamers follow nintendo only games.

the xbox360 has a 16% fail rating

that means everytime you start up your xbox you have a 16% chance of it going out on you and dying

if it happens you have to ship it to microsoft so they can fix it for you

I'd say go for the xbox360. Neither console is better than the other, it depends on the person.

But you seem to be a more serious gamer. and GTA4 is a great game, with lots of action, great graphics (something which the wii is sorely lacking). And more great games are coming out of the xbox360.

and if you've beaten all 7 games on your wii, i don't think you're a casual gamer. And well, I'd say wii appeals more to casual gamers. There are a few great non casual games on the wii, but they don't scream cinematic epic like most games on Xbox360 or PS3.

Moreover, when it comes to online play, xbox360 is the console to get. Blood and gore is still lacking in most wii games save a few. (plus they're unrealistic thanks to the graphic)
