Broken Zipper?

Whenever I zip up the zipper of my purse, the teeth always come apart when they're supposed to be closed. Is there any way to fix this?

You could try sewing up the start of the zipper ?

on the part that actually puts the two sides together. the part that you actually pull up. hammer it so it is tighter. this will close the zipper
