I'm just trying to be as careful as i can.

So i broke a blood vessel in my eye last night. And today at around 6:30 i've got a scuba diving lesson..

And i was wondering if i'm allowed to dive with a broken blood vessel.

I'm just making sure that i don't do any more harm to my eye. So is it bad to dive with the broken blood vessel?

  1. "It is a bad idea to dive with a broken blood vessle. Because if you dive and get salt water into your veins, it will be bad for you and it might get very infected."

Did you even read the question?  The blood vessel is in her eye...it's not going to get exposed to the water.  Also, most diving lessons are in a pool, not salt water.

I don't see anything expressely wrong with it, as I've been diving with cuts and stuff a few times, and besides it stinging when my "waterproof" bandage started to come loose, there weren't any side effects.  Still, I'd talk to your instructor and get his input.  Worst case, and you'll just have to do a make up class at some point.

  2. I'm a certified diver and have a suggestion. If the lesson is in a pool it shouldn't affect it, however if you're 20+ feet in the ocean or lake I would ask your instructor.

  3. It is a bad idea to dive with a broken blood vessle. Because if you dive and get salt water into your veins, it will be bad for you and it might get very infected.
