I was on vacation with my family and accidentally dipped my camera in the water! I had the whole vacation on that camera. I don't care about the camera I just really really want the pictures. Here are the specifics;

* The camera is a Kodak Easy Share One

* I didn't have my memory card in so the pictures are stored on internal memory

* The camera will not power on and is not detected by my computer when I plug it in via USB cord

So if anyone knows of anything I can do like recovery programs or what have you. Thank!!

  1. If the camera was still able to turn on and connect to the computer you'd have a chance.

    Water damage is the worst thing for electronics so chances are the images are lost.

    Your only chance would be a camera repair shop to see if they can take out the peice that stores pictures and use it elsewhere, and that's only if that portion is still good. Search Kodak's website for an authorized repair dealer.

  2. maybe go to a store that makes that camera and see if they can fix it or see if it is defective. If not, maybe you could buy a few disposable cameras?......

  3. First do not power up camera short or static could erase internal memory. Suggest you contact Kodak or a Major camera repair company.
