I just purchased an old somewhat broken Olympus camedia E-10. Here is what the description said about it's functioning/malfunctioning. "I was unable to get either the LCD screen or electronic viewfinder to function properly, getting only a vague difference in lighting to show up on the screen. I attempted to take pictures and save them to a memory card (not included) but got only ‘black’. I was able to view photos on a memory card taken with a different camera, and the menu screen also came up and functioned normally. I believe this camera would require a significant repair prior to any use."i was thinking of taking it to a camera shop in st. louis but they said that the parts for this camera are no longer available. does anyone have any ideas about1. what is wrong with it2. where i could take it to be fixed3. how much it will cost4. could i fix it myself?i am pretty mechanically inclined so i might fix it myself. any help y'all could offer is appreciated!!! thanks!!
