Broken finger......?

I got a broken finger 2day. Its the bottom of my lil finger. The dr. had me put my arm on this wet cloth thing and he wrapped it up and put my arm in a sling. So I have no use of my rite arm. But I have to go back 2 skool in 4 days and im rite handed so i wont b able 2 write. But soon i have 2 go to a hand dr. to get a different more professional 'splint.' Wat I wanna kno is will this 'pro splint' allow me 2 use my other 4 fingers so i can write? And if not then how long will it take 2 heal?

Oh my. Once, I broke my pinky and it was awful. they had to wrap all of my fingers except for my pointer finger and my thumb, all the way up to a little past my wrist. It took maybe 4-6 weeks to heal...

i dunno im guessing yes but my body says its only ok for me to break big bones.

i was still able to write, you just kinda stick it out.

yea it should i broke my finger recently and it had a metal base with a foamy outer shell. It only had to go around my one finger making me able to write with my other fingers. It shouldnt take toooooo long to heal. i think about 2-3 weeks?

It depends on how it's broken and how the ortho guy decides to immobilize it.  You won't know until he does it.  Probably you will figure out a way to hold a pencil and write, but it won't be easy.

You want to be patient, though and cooperate with the process, because your little finger heals crooked it will never be right again.

umm i broke my finger lots of times playing goalie in soccer playing baseball jamming it.

it takes a while for it to heal

the healing progress for the actual pain when it kills takes about a week and a half u should c improvements

and after u get the splint off u feel a little bit for pain for a while but this pain doesnt bother u at all its best to move it when u get the splint off

but u should be fine to write after u get the splint off
