Broken glass top stove (kenmore) smoking in back?

Question

Well we had a party a few weeks ago and someone manages to break a large corner of my glass top stove.

Ever since then whenever I make something in the oven or have the stove top on longer than 10 minutes it starts smoking this horrible acrid smoke that gives everyone a headache and makes your throat burn. Its like right under where you would turn the dials.

I know ridiculous to use the stove after this but I refuse to live soley on microwavable food.

Any suggestions??

Get a new stove or up your fire insurance.

fix the stove, have the glass top replaced, it's that simple, really. and stop partying so damned much!! LOL!!!

Glass top's usually have atleast a 5 yr warranty on them, as long as you dont tell them someone broke it. "honestly, I was cooking and it just cracked... must have got too hot or something. Hey, come to think of it isnt this a safety hazard?"  

Call Sears about the warranty and get it fixed.
