So this is going to be kind of long...I was dating a girl for a about five months and everything was great and then all of a sudden everything got really serious on both sides and we actually talked about being together forever (no i'm not in high school). Then all of sudden we fought all the time and broke up, but for the last almost two years now I haven't been able to get over her. I told myself it would happen with time and I dated other girls but I always break up with them because I feel I should be with her. She has been dating someone for over a year and they are "happy" but she still tells me she loves me and we have hooked up and made out recently, not to mention ruins all my relationships and tries to control my friendships. I know this is long but moral of the story is how do I fix this, I don't want to love her anymore. PLease don't say get over it, your rudeness isn't needed.

  1. The only thing you can really do is stop being around her and hope time takes care of it.

  2. my advice to you is this....

I dont know if you are going to like it but you need to stay away from her. I was engaged once. I talked to this person alot after that. It made it so much harder for me to get over them. But once i stoped talking to them It made it easier. You are not letting yourself heal at all. This kinda thing takes time. Its hard to say when it will happen. You might never be over the person 100%. But for yourself you need to move on

  3. To tell you the truth, we're almost on the same boat. And up to now I really can't figure out how to move on with my life without her. It's so hard...
