What kind of benefits are out there? Who is going to pay my bills since I donht qualify for anything? Charity maybe? I have to drive 2 hours to get to the doctor Im seeing for my foot and with gas prices who can afford that? Ive already paid 2 50 dollars deductibles and have to go back in a week and get more x-rays are you kidding? And get this another 50 deductible if I dont qualify for charity! and then back in another month when I have absoultely no money to get there because lets see Im out of work and no agency will help me. Now I might qualify for a few food stamps and thank god I have HUDD. That I am thankful for but what about car insurance, your phone bill?etc. And they think other countries have it bad need to do something about the good ole USA

  1. Where did you break your heal? If it was at work or you carry dis.insurance with them...They are liable.

I have a friend that works in that field...Maybe just talking to him could give you some insight? Cris Badgley

I found this site the other day that might help you

  2. The answer may vary by person. It would be a good idea to hear some of them and try to choose the best one. Here is a good one.http://car-insurance.bestips.info/car-in...

  3. Call your local adult social service  department, there are hundreds of programs that will help. If you give me you city and state location I would be happy to get you the numbers. Sorry about your situation...it sucks. I have worked with HUD for years and many of my tenant have had things like this happen and I know that my staff and I have found alot of different agency's that will help. Best of luck.

  4. Well, "benefits" would be disability coverage.  If you bought private disability, or live in a mandatory disability state like CA or NY (and are employed), you can collect under the disability policy.

If you're looking for charity, talk to family, friends, and your church.  If you have HUDD, then you already are getting SOME charity, you just need more.

And you probably need to move closer to your doctor, to eliminate that 2 hour drive.  Sell the car, or take it off the road, so you can cancel the insurance for four months - the savings will pay for cab rides.  Phone, cable, a/c, might be things of the past for you, for a while.
