  1. i had my jaw broke a couple of years ago and i gave my jaw about 6-8 months to heal, i know it seems like a long time but better safe than sorry, don't rush going back training i do mma also and sparring is really rough your jaw (well your whole body) but don't rush it i'm sure you don't want to go back to a liquid diet

  2. better safe than sorry, listen to your doctor, and see an thletic trainer.

  3. Not everyone has the same healing capabilities. it depends on your age, physical constitution, bone density and severity of the break. You can ask the doctor who set it or /and you could rely own your own judgment since it is your injury you should be in tune with whether it has healed enough or not.

I have known fighters who were able to return to full contact after 6 months to a year and a few who have gone back earlier only to compound the injury.

Waiting for your injury to heal doesn't have to be inactive but you should not do full contact till your really ready.

The most important thing about your injury besides healing is to figure out how not to  get injured again. Use this time to study the things that led to this mishap.
