Broken joint protector in pool cue?

here is the scenario.. i have a Falcon professional pool cue. it has a joint protector ofcourse. My friend took it out of my case and looked at it, and droped it.. and the joint protector broke. but 2/3 of it is still in the cue.. any suggestion how i can get the broken s***w in the cue? without damaging the cue at all.. please.. answer in a simple way. i am not a native speaker. dont understand any in depth answer. please be as unformal as you can.

  1. if part of it is sticking out use pliers to get a hold of it and unscrew... if not I would take it to a professional.


  2. It's not as bad as it sounds even if the protector is inside the joint.

    Find a mechanic and he/she can use an easy out to extract the broken part without damaging your cue. I wouldn't think anyone would charge you more than $10 to $20. I hope that helps.
