Broken my bone before starting basic training army?

i just broke my small bone in my foot today while running and fott slipped side ways, im currently in a cast and have basic next month (british army) will this lead to a discharge or will i get booted out? my carrers is close for a week and just worried and gutted,as all my fitness gains are going to go down hill.

  1. I was informed by my recruiting officer that injuries such as broken bones can result in an indefinite deferral, or most likely a complete discharge. You need to have three years clear from the point of when you break any bones. Best bet is to contact your recruiter to find out exactly what can/is to be done.


  2. Fact one is that your bone is broken

    Fact two is that you cannot do a thing about it

    Fact three is that once you tell them, they WILL reschedule you to the next course but you must tell them

  3. Tell your recruiter and he will just reschedule until another intake.

    What you training for mate? Infantry? If so which regiment?
