Broken phone-still get text messages?

Question

my phone is dead/broken/done from water damage.

since i had insurance they were going to give me the same phone type i had.

i won't get that new phone for a week

if ppl are texting me while i don't have a phone, when i get that new phone will i recieve those texts they sent when i didn't have a phone?

Not if they're on the phone you have now.. But If its  completely broken, then it'll just act like power is off; And when you turn on the new one, they should beep in.

It may take a few minutes though. Depends.

as far as is know the text messages are there for about 24hrs only.
