Broken rewind tab for Nikon EM 35mm SLR

Question

I have an otherwise mint cond Nikon EM with a broken rewind tab (the external piece.) I put film in there and there is no problem threading it and running it through, but I cannot rewind it without the tab you lift up from the outside. I was trying to sell this camera, and would like to know how much it would cost to repair. Is this something I can do with a part myself or do I need someone with the right tool(s)?
