Ok so I broke my toe when I was like 11 (and now I'm 13) but no one believed I actually broke it even though I couldn't walk without screaming and crying and I couldn't get out of bed for like three days so no one ever took me to the doctor!Recently I have been hitting my toe on EVERYTHING I'm so clumsy but anyway ever time I bump or hit it against something it gets really sensitive and I cant walk for like an hour but its been two years since then so what wrong with it and what should I do my dad wont take me to the doctor cause he thinks I'm faking it cause when I was younger I used to fake things a lot to get attention but I haven't done that since I was like 9 years old how do I prove to him that I'm not faking it he doesn't believe me even when I show him the black and blue bruises.

  1. Only an x-ray will show if a bone is broken... it could be another injury, serious or minor... but they don't cast broken toes anyway.

If you're being refused medical care by your parents, many jurisdictions would classify that as child abuse or child neglect. Are you willing to go that far to see a doctor? Your parents could get into big trouble, and they could take the children away from them.

Talk to your counselor or nurse at school... the nurse will have a pretty good idea about your foot, and perhaps also your spiritual counselor... priest, rabbi, etc. Maybe he can help you deal with your parents - or intercede on your behalf.
