Bronze Angel to crush down the competition in the 32Red Casino Handicap
The Class 2 32Red Casino Handicap has brought together an exceptionally talented line-up of eleven three-year-old runners. The mile race will be staged at Newmarket on Saturday, 14th July. One of the most promising entries among the contestants
is the three-year-old, Bronze Angel.
A deadly threat for the runners is the unbeaten, 7 to 1 shot, Asatir, the Saeed Bin Suroor trained, and the mount for the genius rider, Frankie Dettori.
Dark Angels’ colt has been active four times during the new season and has balanced it with two success stories.
The three-year-old conquered the season by landing the Forest Row Handicap on 14th January, 2012 at Lingfield over a mile. The evening’s favourite winner calmly tracked the leader who had not fallen into a high pace, but burst out with the final
furlong remaining, and had to fight for the half length’s lead that got him through the wire before the reeling in rival, Mr Red Clubs.
Coming at terms with the third position was, Shabora.
The second attempt of the Marcus Tregoning trained did not bring out the desired outcome as he finished sixth in the Betfred Royal Mile (Handicap Stakes) on 7th April, 2012 at Musselburgh over a mile.
The good to soft ground granted success to Chapter Seven.
Second victory with the jockey, Hayley Turner, and the third of the season was in the Frenchgate First For Fashion Handicap on 19th May, 2012 at Doncaster over a mile.
The Irish bay colt took his flight from the fourteenth gate in the field of thirteen contestants. It did not require much effort at the end of the colt as he was the centre of attention right from the beginning and did not let much get in his way to the
wire.
Bronze Angel left the runner-up, Ladys First, at a disadvantage of ¾ of a length.
More like taking turns with winning and then losing the race that came in right after, the Rihana foaled ended third in the Britannia Stakes (Heritage Handicap) (Colts & Geldings) on 21st June, 2012 at the Royal Ascot over a mile.
The race was won by the favourite entry, Fast Or Free.
The 15 to 2 entry will be accompanied by jockey, Richard Hughes, and the two will break out from the sixth gate.
