Brooklyn Nets players searching for places to live near New Jersey - NBA Update

Most Brooklyn Nets players are looking for residences close to New Jersey in order to be near the practice facilities.....

The Brooklyn Nets are the newest team in the NBA and have high hopes of being regarded as the best team out of New York.
The Nets management have been specifically targeting the Knicks to spice up a rivalry as they look to turn Brooklyn into the main hub of basketball in the Big Apple. Some of the Nets players have even gone ahead to claim that they
are a better team in comparison to the Knicks.
It is the start of some exciting time for the game of basketball in the city of New York. However, as enticing as the rivalry between the two teams sounds, most of Nets players are not excited about living in Brooklyn.
The main reason behind the hesitancy has been that the Nets have so far failed to find a suitable location for their practice facilities. And the team continues to practice at their previous facility across the bridge in New Jersey.
So, in order to avoid the travelling from Brooklyn to New Jersey for practice, some of the Nets players have been looking for places to live in Manhattan which is more convenient.
Deron Williams has reportedly been looking for place to live in SoHo while Joe Johnson, Kris Humphries and Jerry Stackhouse, all intend to live in Manhattan.
Other members of the Nets roster have been reported to have found residence in New Jersey. Rookie, Tyshawn Taylor has acquired an apartment in his home town of Hoboken and imports like Mirza Teletovic and Tornike Shengelia are
likely to follow.
This does not come as much surprise as NBA players usually do not find permanent residences in the same city as their team as they are on the road for 41 games of the season.
However, the fact that the Nets who play at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn have practice facilities in New Jersey and most of their star players are living in Manhattan which is closer to the Knicks home, Madison Square Garden,
does appear funny.
