Brooklyn New York? question

So i see every rapper talk about brooklyn and whatnot. They mention Brevortt or Breevort projects..and they mention what it sounds like to me as "best out" or "besta" idk..sounds like maybe a neighborhood out there..maybe a street name..idk..artists like "Maino" and "Fabolous" mention it a lot. Anyone know have a clue what i'm talking about?

Could you be talking about "Bed-Stuy"? That's the nickname for a large, mostly Black neighborhood in Brooklyn. The real name is Bedford-Stuyvesant.

What you wrote sounds a lot like "Bed-Stuy" to me. And it would make sense in the context you mention, as it IS the name of a neighborhood. (I used to teach elementary school in Bed-Stuy.)

I actually grew up in Brooklyn but not in any project. It doesn't sound familiar, sorry.
