Brooks Teal resigns as a head swimming & diving coach at NC State – Swimming News
Brooks Teal has resigned as a head coach for swimming & diving at the NC State in Raleigh, North California. He served the NC State for a period of eleven years.
Teal said, “For personal reasons, I have decided to move on and leave my position as head coach of the men's and women's swimming and diving programs here at NC State.”
He further added that it has been really a privilege for him to be the head swimming and diving coach for continuously 11 years with the NC State Program and he appreciates this opportunity from the core of his heart. 
Brooks said that he has had great contentment with many dazzling young men and women swimmers.
Director of Athletics Deborah A. Yow said, “We appreciate all of Brooks' contributions to our program and wish him the best in his future endeavours. As a State alum and program mentor, Brooks will always be an important part of the Wolfpack Family.”  
Meanwhile, Senior Associate Director of Athletics Chris Kingston said that they are going to start their research regarding the selection of the next national head coach of the Men's and Women's swimming and diving programs at NC State, within a short span
of time.
Christopher “Woody” Woodard will carry on in his current role as an associate head coach of swimming and diving there. Moreover, he will supervise the national Women’s and Men’s diving & swimming team in the provisional period.
Commenting on the value of Brooks Teal for the NC State Program, Christopher confessed that Brooks is considered to be one of the most pivotal building blocks for the NC State, so they are very grateful to Teal for the way he has handled his duties over
a period of time.
Many questions are being raised up by spokespersons in different media channels about the sudden retirement of Brooks Teal from the NC State, in Raleigh.
In this regard, many journalists and reporters asked Teal the root cause of his abrupt resignation from the association, when he told that he is just resigning from his duties being a head coach of the Men’s and Women’s swimming & diving team at the NC State
due to his personal reasons and nothing else.
Director of Athletics, Deborah A. Yow has acknowledged the overall role of Brooks Teal as the swimming and diving head coach of the NC State program for the longer version.
He claimed that they have no regrets about their legendary performer, who has really put his best efforts in improving the standards at NC State for a period of over a decade.
