Which company do you think makes better shoes?

The only reason I'm not gonna get Asics is because they're really ugly. Nikes I've been using for yrs and I decided to try something new.

It's either gonna be the Brooks Cascadia or Saucony Excursion.

  1. I had a pair of Saucony Cohesion that I picked up on a sale table, and they are good shoes, but not good for my feet---too wide in the heel area.  Then I went to a speciality running shoe store and they recommended a few shoes to me and let me take them all out for a spin around the block (!) and I chose the Brooks Adrenaline and I love them!  They are light and fit my foot like a glove (or I guess, a shoe, but whatever).

So, I think it's a personal thing, depending on your feet, size, etc.  They both make great shoes and both brands are dedicated solely to running.  But you can go wrong if they don't fit right, so try to go to a store that lets you test drive.

  2. This truly is a personal decision based on how you feel when you run, but for some reason I never have great luck in Brooks shoes (I've only had three different pairs of that brand, though).  However, I've had great luck with Saucony.  Each time I buy a pair I'm never disappointed.

  3. they're both good shoes. I have both, brooks beasts and saucony grid mc. depends on what type of foot you have. most people have normal arches I think. I have low arches, almost flat foot, so I use brooks and saucony because they make great running shoes for people with low arches like me. they also make good running shoes for all types of feet.

on their websites, it will ask you what type of feet you have and body type, and then recommend some nice shoes for you.

for me, i use my saucony grid mc's when I am racing or sprinting, and then I use my brooks beasts when I am jogging long distances , because they are very durable and comfortable. okay thanks good luck bye
