Brossard hospital?

Hi all,

I'm from Ontario but on a trip to Montreal with my boyfriend who is on business. I am staying in Brossard.

I have battled c. difficile in the past and think i am coming down with it again today. I need a non-emergency ambulance to take me to a good nearby hospital- I'll need to be put in isolation and seen by an infectious disease specialist...

I'm half an hour away from Montreal general, is there anything closer?

  1. You may want to try Charles Lemoyne Hospital in Greenfield Park.

Sorry, I have no personal experience with that hospital, but it services much of the south shore and so should be reliable.

They also have a good history with C. Difficile. While the provincial average for C.D. outbreaks is 9 for every 10,000 patient days, there record was half that when a survey was done a few years ago.

Hope you feel better. Don't waste time on the PC...Go see them before you get dehydrated. Make sure that your boyfriend takes you there, or use a taxi so you don't faint while driving there or have an "accident" while on the bus.

  2. You're scaring me with your infectious disease stories...

Please do not cross the river!

    Thanks for enlightening me though!
