Brother Embroidery machine thread keeps breaking

Question

No matter which embroidery thread I use, the design starts, the thread bunches up on the bottom of the fabric and the thread breaks. I have used three brands and thickness of fabric stay under each garment without any luck. What am I doing wrong?I also need better instructions on how to download designs. Help!I also have the same problem with the thread breaking when embroidery. It is very frustrating have to watch every stitch so i can stop it when it breaks. I hope someone can help.
